dual monitor stand best buy
By Dorothy Honeycutt from Frisco, Texas on April 3, 2013
Price compared this to several other free standing dual lcd monitor arms and bought it here for the cheapest price I found. I had to use the screws already in place on the monitors I have but I think my screens need special longer screws. Fortunately, they are already installed on the monitors so I just removed them attached to the mount and then put them back in.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

997 5253 00
By Carmen Noble from Springfield, Illinois on April 3, 2013
Good Deal for a dual monitor stand. The mount is very sturdy and easy to install. The screws that come with it connect right up to the back of my screens. I was literally able to install in under 10 minutes. The wiring though does take a little time afterward to get it the way I like. It's a very nice stand.
Pros:
Easy to Install
Quality
Cons:
None

I would recommend this item to a friend.

planar 997 5253 00 black dual monitor stand for lcd displays vs MonMount LCD-194
By Cameron Sutton from Buffalo, New York on April 3, 2013
I bought this and the Planar 997 5253 00 in the ergonomic office special that was going on. I was presently surprised with this stand. I hadn't heard of MonMount before, but will now consider them in all future office needs for monitor stand. The black finish is nice and the stand is the perfect size for my office stations. Right now, I've got a train of Planar and MonMount stands going in rows for my call center. The functionality is similar and price on MonMount is much less expensive.
Pros:
Price
Good quality
Cons:
Only supports up to 24"

I would recommend this item to a friend.

vertical dual monitor stand
By Catherine Baxter from Temecula, California on April 3, 2013
I bought this thinking it is a dual monitor stand for vertical positioning. Unfortunately, you cannot. This is only for side-by-side mounting. I'll still keep the mount, but looking for a vertical option. I asked OutletPC customer service if it can be adapted. They said the pole is too short to do vertical adaptation with this mount. I'm keeping the mount as I can find a use for it. Just wish it could be adapted.
Cons:
Cannot do vertical orientation.

Just what we needed!
By Marie from Hazlet, NJ on March 7, 2013
When the stand arrived I had it assembled, with both monitors in place in about half an hour. It would have been quicker if I had help.
Pros:
The stand saves room on my desk. No more overcrowding due to too many stands.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Excellent Product
By Amy from Seattle, WA on December 20, 2012
I was a little wary to buy at first as price is almost half of most other similar stands. I'm glad I did! The stand worked exactly to the specifications I needed. The installation was easy and straight-forward. It came with everything needed to mount my screens. Four screws on each monitor and walah! I was looking for one for home office as well. If I could give six stars, I would. I will be buying again!
Pros:
Price Quality.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Bigger than expected, but awesome.
By Dwayne Utsey from Teaneck, NJ on November 12, 2012
I bought one of these for my wife's home office as well as the clamp-on version for myself. This free standing version is great with very sturdy, quality parts. No need what-so-ever to worry about your monitors crashing to the desk. The only gripe I had with this, is that the base is pretty heavy, large and extends outward about 12+ inches on your desk. Luckily, she didn't have a problem with it though. Still plenty of room for her. Needless to say she's very happy.
Pros:
Sturdiness, quality, strength, features & price.
Cons:
Desktop footprint of the base is a little large and heavy.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Awesome multiple monitor stand
By Austin from Frisco, TX on November 7, 2012
This multiple monitor stand holds my monitors perfectly. The stand is heavy enough to hold both up and be really sturdy. Can't find a better price on a multiple monitor stand!

The PERFECT Dual Monitor Stand !!!
By Greg Scher from Honolulu, Hawaii on November 3, 2012
Anyone that has to do large volumes of work using multiple programs at the same time knows that they cannot live without dual monitors to drag and drop information quickly from one screen to another, or even the overwhelming convenience of simply being able to see full screen views of two programs at the same time. However, the problem with having two monitors is that the monitor bases take up a lot of precious desktop space. That is where the Freestanding Dual LCD Monitor Stand excels.

I have an L-shaped glass desk. Both space AND weight on the glass top as important considerations for me. I wanted a monitor stand that could not only support my two 24 hi-def wide screen monitors, but be sturdy enough to keep them from being wobbly. This monitor stand surpasses even my wildest hopes.

As an added bonus, the stand comes with a circular black plate, washer and bolt so that you can bolt the monitor stand to your wooded or steel desktop of you are concerned about it being knocked over or stolen. However, I can personally assure you that you will not knock this sturdy stand over under even the most ardent of circumstances.

If you look at the photo I have posted with this review you will see that there is ample distance between the monitor mounts to allow both monitors to swing inward towards each other until the bezels touch so that they are both aiming directly at you. The entire stand adjusts up and down over 2-feet and both monitor mounts will swivel out away from each other a full 90-degrees.

If you are looking to save space, have a good looking and ruggedly sturdy dual monitor stand that will last a lifetime, then do yourself a favor and get this stand!

Pros:
Functionality, design, looks, sturdiness, balance, security, material construction and price.
Cons:
Nothing -- It's perfect !

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Bought two for a quad setup
By Scott Morgan from Santa Ana, California on May 28, 2012
Nobody really makes a good quad stand that runs horizontally so I bought two of these duals and couldn't be happier.
Pros:
Very easy to install

Amazing price on this freestanding horizontal mount
By Glenda Sharpe from Aurora, Colorado on May 28, 2012
You'll truly be amazed by how good the quality is on this thing. It's really sturdy and doesn't topple when standard pressure is applied to it. Gives you the control to move your screens around and set them up how you want them.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Great Quality Monitor Stand
By John from Houston, TX on May 25, 2012
I don't usually review items, but was very impressed with the quality and workmanship of this stand. Originally purchased for my wife, I quickly discovered that Samsung monitors don't have the VESA mount. Check your monitors to ensure they have 4 screw holes in the back. If so, you're all set. The monitor comes with a little wrench and allen wrench. Perfect!

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Dual Monitor Stand
By Kelly Stewart from Rochester, New York on May 1, 2012
This stand is great for what we needed. We had two different size monitors a 24" and a 17" we wondered if this stand would tip with the different weight on each side (we did not use the mounting clip) NO Prolbems it stays upright.
Excellent deal worth the price.

Pros:
We can move it around on the desk does not have to be stationary.
Cons:
It is hard move the monitors up and down, but this is because of the weight of each monitor.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Easy to use
By Rachel Hall from Colorado Springs, Colorado on January 17, 2012
I am really enjoying my new dual LCD monitor stand because it looks nice and was easy to set up (if a little bit heavy)

Pros:
Adjustable stand

Do the brackets where the monitors mount slide horizontally along the arms/rails if you want your monitors side by side with a smaller monitor, no gap between them?

Thank you!
By Customer Service on April 5, 2012

Answer:
No, the brackets that hold the monitor in place can not slide horizontally.
By Darr247 from Michigan USA on September 26, 2013

Answer:
But they do pivot forward, and the further forward they pivot the closer the monitors would be together.

By Richard W. Cooper from Long Beach, California on October 19, 2012
I have gotten delivery of this stand and like it except for one issue I was wondering if you had a resolution for. I use samsung syncmaster 2494 monitor(s) and the mount isnt exactly correct. Do you have an adapter plate so that my monitor(s) can screw to the stand securely? I can screw it to two of the mounting holes, but not all 4. Thank you. Rick Cooper
By Customer Service on October 22, 2012

Answer:
No, unfortunately we do not have any adapters for our mounts as they are set for industry standard VESA 75 and 100 mounting.
By Greg Scher from Honolulu, Hawaii on November 3, 2012

Answer:
Swap the mounting arms around. It will fit. I just tried it on a Syncmaster 2494 like you have and it fits right up.

By Tim Lee from USA on March 13, 2013
I own one of your freestanding stands, but am converting my desk and will need to have the ability to clamp to the desktop surface, do you have an adapter or plate which would allow me to clamp my current stand?
By Customer Service on March 14, 2013

Answer:
We do not carry an adapter that will allow you to clamp a freestanding mount. However, your mount did come with hardware to connect your device directly to the desk.

By Michael from San Jose, CA on December 15, 2011
I have two Dell monitors. Will they work with them?
By Customer Service on December 17, 2011

Answer:
This mount are not brand specific so it can work with any brand. The main thing you want to confirm is that that the monitors you plan to mount have either a VESA 75 or VESA 100 pattern on the back as the mount can support both. VESA standards are square patterns of holes on the back of the monitor. Most monitors use these standards regardless of manufacturer. You also want to make sure your monitors are less than 23" wide horizontally as the wider the monitors become, the farther out the arms extend. Once you get to that point, the arms are full extended. Anything past that, the arms will overlap so you want to make sure your monitors horizontal width is equal to or smaller than that limit. The last thing to look at is the weight. Most monitors are under 22 pounds so that is normally not an issue.

By c butler from ohio on May 10, 2013
will it rotate enough for someone on the other side of my desk to see a screen?
By Customer Service on May 10, 2013

Answer:
Yes, this Freestanding Dual LCD Monitor Stand can be adjusted to show one screen to someone sitting across from you.

By Puneet from Phoenix, Arizona on May 11, 2013
How can the mount be directly attached to the desk? Which part attaches? Can I get rid of the bulky U-shaped part and attach the rod directly to the desk?
By Customer Service on May 13, 2013

Answer:
This Freestanding Dual LCD Monitor Stand is designed to sit on the desk as opposed to clamping onto the edge. For something like that, see this mount:
