Does this come with thermal compound?
By Customer Service on June 19, 2014

Yes, this comes with enough Thermal Paste for one application.
By Sarsoar from Florida on May 4, 2016

It came with a small tube that allowed me to redo the installation twice, so about 3 uses worth of paste.

Will this fit on my LGA 775 Intel Xeon 3375 3GHZ Processor?
By Customer Service on June 21, 2016

Hello Andrew,

Thank you for your inquiry. Yes the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO is compatible with LGA775 processors, however depending on your case and motherboard arrangement the cooler might not fit very well or at all. The manufacturer keeps an updated list on known good motherboards that have clearance for this cooler on their website below:

Just curious, do these fans rotate clockwise?

By Customer Service on May 18, 2012

Yes, this fan would rotate clockwise so as to draw air over the cooling unit which is where the heat from the CPU is radiated to.
By Sarsoar from Florida on May 4, 2016

They blow into the radiator but you can reverse the brackets that the PWM fan is mounted on and reverse their direction. It also includes another set of brackets to mount another fan which you can mount in which ever direction you like.

Does this fit with this
By Customer Service on December 17, 2016

Yes, this should be compatible for that build.

By bobzilla from vegas on May 22, 2013
I heard that this EVO version has slower fan speed than regular Hyper 212 and less air flow. Is that true?

By Customer Service on May 22, 2013

The listed fan speeds for both the Hyper 212 EVO and Hyper 212 Plus models are 600-2000 RPM.

By Aidan from n on January 6, 2017

By Terry B from Dallas on May 24, 2016
Which direction should I install my Hyper 212 Evo? (The fan)
By Customer Service on May 24, 2016

Thank you for your inquiry. Though preferences vary, the general consensus is that the orientation for the Cooler Master Hyper Evo 212 (or any other CPU cooler) should direct air towards the rear exhaust. This will allow better ventilation and thus keeping the system optically cooled.
