I have a 2TB External Hard Drive. But I need to connect it to a USB 3.0 port. All the USB port are 2.0. Can you use this device for that purpose?

Answer:Yes, this device will work for that purpose. However, its not entirely necessary. USB 3.0 is backwards compatible with USB 2.0, so you could connect it to any usb port and access your files.
