Dont buy this piece of s*#& if you value your ...
I will never ever buy asus again, the usb 3.0 cord is on there so hard i pulled off the seating. I booted once into bios, never again. Garbage garbage garbage!Dont buy this piece of s*#& if you value your time. I cannot get it to even boot up, im using right ram that is approved by asus and in every slot but it still wont boot. Ive never had this much issue with a new mobo this is crazy and ridiculous. Ps first and last time i buy asus products

Great amd ryzen board, love the rgb light effects!
I love how easy it is to overclock and tinker with settings on this board, and especially, the aura color control stuff. Bling is awesome, but this mobo runs solidly for me, and up and running quickly, which is even better. Of note, definitely update the bios if it doesn't run your memory at full speed; i have corsair ddr4-3200 ram, and it took a couple bios updates before the xmp memory settings were there to run the memory at full speed. But once they were, it was easy to choose that setting. The asus apps for motherboard and aura work well. The only warning i would have is that asus mouse app is lousy, have to download a fix file from their support website to use it. But once that was done, then the mouse and mobo got along and the rgb aura stuff is way cool! To date myself, way back when, my first home-built computer was an amd athlon. Nice to build another amd around another quality cpu again, the ryzen, at a fraction of intel prices!

Overpriced. If you're building budget, buy budget. If you're building mid-range+, get an x370.
This motherboard is overpriced. If you're building budget, buy a cheaper b350. The asrock fatal1ty b350 is $25 cheaper, is one of the best b350s out there, and has a better vrm. If you're building mid-range and aiming to overclock, go with an x370. Buying an expensive b350 is just spending more on what amounts to a budget board. This motherboard may be pretty, but it's not worth the cost.If you're considering doing any overclocking at all on a ryzen 7 chip, this definitely isn't the motherboard for you. It has a 4+2 vrm, which isn't sufficient to feed ryzen 7 chips past stock clocks. I originally intended to get a 1600x, so i thought this board would be enough for me, but ultimately i decided to pick up a 1700 instead. While i love the 1700, this motherboard's power delivery has left a lot to be desired. A friend's got an msi x370 gaming pro carbon and the voltage on it varies by about one voltage step under load, even at 3.9ghz. This motherboard's power delivery, on the other hand, is all over the place, from 1.308v to 1.352v during a 30 minute run of small ffts. That unstable power delivery makes it very hard to achieve stable overclocks at reasonable voltages. I've been able to achieve 3.9ghz, but it's pushing a lot more voltage than it should require since power delivery is so unstable. This motherboard as well doesn't play very nicely with memory, especially after the latest bios update. My flare x memory used to be stable at the rated 3200mhz, but that isn't the case since that update. I'm holding out hope they'll fix the issue in a future bios update, but considering how this last one went, i'm not going to be holding my breath. To be fair to this board, it's sufficient for stock clocks...But again, overpriced. You're not getting anything special here, you're just paying more.

Aura sync works like a charm and was able to oc my 1600x ...
The freaking bomb sauce! Aura sync works like a charm and was able to oc my 1600x to 4.1 ghz at 1.38 volts, stable. 4.2 eludes me, but that seems to be par the course without over volting like a mother. Water cooled with ek p240 kit with extra 120mm radiator.

Loaded With Features
Solid, durable and reliable. One of the best motherboards for the PC building enthusiast. The Unified Extensible Firmware Interface, Basic Input/Output System is user-friendly and includes many features. I utilized G.Skill F4-3200C14D-16GVK with my Ryzen 5 1600 and I was able to clock 3200MHz after clicking the DOCP button without issue after updating the firmware. I highly recommend this board. Thank you ASUS.

Good motherboard to buy
Good motherboard if you need to upgrade for more power cpu, and it is well within a set budget.

Components inside looked fine and undamaged
Package came with a whole that went right to the anti static bag. Components inside looked fine and undamaged. I installed the board and a new cpu cooler and every so often the system would turn off without warning. So £173 down the drain. I'm going to try and make a new gaming rig with the board. And see if it's just the setup i put the board into previous.

Hi, I was wondering if you guys did BIOS updates for the motherboard? Or if you don't, do you have the boot kit that AMD says they give out. I recently bought a AMD Ryzen 5 2600X and am worried that my computer won't boot up with this motherboard. Here is the link I read about the compatibility issues: I don't really understand this much other than that my computer might not start up.

By Customer Service on 2018-06-29

Unfortunately, we do not offer the free boot kits at this time. That is something you'll want to contact AMD directly as they can assist sending one over to you to get the update set.
