Cheap replacement
I needed to replace a failed drive in an older pc. We didn't want to spend a lot, but wanted a good drive. This fit the bill.

Works well, occasionally noisy
Got this to replace my last liteon dvd burner which stopped opening and closing (may have something to do with the door on my computer the dvd has to open and close). Works very well, no errors, fast.Occasionally has a noisy vibration - not sure why. Overall very satisfied.

Great drive, cheap software
This is a reasonably priced drive that was simple to install and works well. The software says it it is a "trial" version, but seems to have a permanent license. It is a stripped down nero (express 12) that isn't worth more than an extra $1. I hate the [upgrade] adware button.

Really for $20 you cant go wrong. It works as advertised and is stable. Now if only there was a blu-ray drive at this price....

Perfect upgrade
Perfect upgrade from cd-rom player. The deck works flawlessly as i expected. I have never had any problems with lite-on equipment. Arrived sooner than estimated.
