Your granddaughters will be proud!
I bought this drive because it was the cheapest that my search provided and i wanted to test it for possible use in providing my models with the photos they would like to use from their model shoot. I think these drives are more convenient that cd's or dvd's when it comes to making their way through the postal system without damage but they must as well be cost effective. So far this drive has functioned satisfactorily except for one instance when my old compaq desktop wouldn't recognize it. But then the compaq is so old and has it's idiosyncrasies, which i overcome by switching to a number of other computers i have available. This drive is the one i have used with my toshiba laptop when shooting tethered (camera is attached to the computer with a cable, allowing each exposure to be evaluated within seconds of being recorded, allowing right in pose or lighting to be made immediately.). At the end of the shoot the images are downloaded to the hard drive on the laptop and then transferred to this flash drive. I have all the exposures on my laptop to do with as i wish and the model can be given the flash drive to take with her after the shoot: very convenient. This drive holds an amazing number of photos considering i record high quality jpeg's and raw files of each shot! The raw files are especially large, to find out more about these, google the phrase or question a friend who is a serious photographer using a digital camera. If your friend is still shooting film he or she will burst into tears and run away. Please don't question them again, it's too painful; but if you are shooting digital yourself get one of these drives. If, on the other hand, you plan to do some adult stuff with your next door neighbor, make sure you have one of these to keep a record for yourself, those puppies aren't going to stay firm forever and you will want something to show your granddaughters so they can be proud of "granny" and hope to grow up just like her.
Good value, works for my needs.
I needed a couple of cheap usb sticks for my os scriptings class and these fit the bill perfectly! Been great so far. I haven't had them long, but if they make it through the year that'll be plenty for my needs!

Start your engines
I absolutely love this drive. It fits neatly on my key chain and no one realizes it's a thumb drive until they get up close and personal. I've had a few odd stairs when i've plugged it into my computer here and there, and i've told people it's how i start my computer's engine. Mainly, i keep things i might need quick access to out and about (ie, resume, documents of certification, etc...). There's always a library near by, after all. It's really a lot harder to misplace your thumb drive when it's on your key ring like this... Unlike my last ones (a miniture one that got lost somewhere in the bottom of my purse and a 32g one that grew legs and walked away).

Great little usb drive.
I did have a problem trying to put a 6 gb file on the device when it was formatted as fat32, but once i formatted it as exfat it worked fine. Otherwise, great.

Nice key drive
It's split, and it looks like a key, and the build quality is reasonable. But a much better product is asin:b00dyqyj0e which is about half the size and much more durable (not to mention unbelievably clever with its unified housing-and-connector).

The issue is the usb key never sits snugly in usb ports --- some devices have trouble keeping a stable connection because of this. I bought it after seeing the lacie key (but wanted something cheaper). However it wasn't worth it, i would try another product

And a few days later it is still working fine. That's good news
I bought this for an 11 year old, and a few days later it is still working fine. That's good news. She prefers to use it while listening to kskq 89.5fm in ashland, or.
Nice design. Fits perfectly on a keyring.
Not much to say. It is a flash drive. Since everyone should know what a flash drive is, i will only comment about the design.I like the design. It's hard to tell if it's a chrome plated plastic or actual metal. It doesn't feel quite as solid as i would expect from solid metal, but then, it would have to be made pretty thin to allow for the actual flash chip inside it. It isn't much thicker than a regular key and it fits on my key ring quite well. The usb plug end doesn't have the full metal cover over the usb pins, so i wondered how stable it would be in an actual usb port. It does actually stay securely in the usb port, even with the weight of a few keys hanging off it.All told, i like it. The design is much better than traditional flash drives that have to be carried in a pocket or a bag.
