Fantastic mobo with plenty of features
Easy to navigate bios menu, plenty of options to tweak and customize your hardware and it was extremely easy to install. As well props to gigabyte for the integrated i/o shield on the back. I was a bit wary of this product considering some of the reviews i saw but it has far exceeded my expectations. Would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is upgrading to a ryzen processor and needs a solid motherboard with plenty of features.

Very stable board, with alot to offer.
I purchased this board when i was having problems with my asus crosshair vi extreme board and had to rma. I figured this may be a temporary fix, but now that i have had it for some time, i have made it the board of my main pc at this time. Part of that was due to the better rgb lighting options on the board and software control. The board has proven to be stable and my pc is performing nicely. As well found out the memory has more room to overclock with my ryzen 1700 gen 1 processor. I feel that i am not even pushed the board along with my computer to the limits yet. I have usually stuck to only asus motherboards and on occasion a lowend gigabyte board for my 2ndary systems, but i would recommend gigabyte's aorus x470 gaming 7 wifi motherboard.

Personally i think the x470 aorus gaming 7 better than the x470 crosshair.
Because x470 crosshair still have often the shutdown problem. And x470 crosshair bios update is late. The x470 aorus 7's overclock is support very safe voltage. However, i feel the bios screen like outdated. I wish it improved.

Won't buy gigabyte again because of flaky wireless
I built my computer and didn't notice that the wireless wasn't working right at first. It kept disconnecting at first and then it stayed connected and surfing the internet was fine but trying to download a file was terrible. It would start the download and then just quit. Same thing with transferring files from any computer on my network, it would start the transfer and then just quit.Everything else on the board works flawlessly.I contacted gigabyte support and they said that it sounds like a bad wireless controller so i had to completely tear the new computer apart and rma the board which cost me $16.00 to send to them.Hopefully a replacement board will be good. If so, i will change my rating.Update:after sending the mb back to them they didn't even open the box for 6 days. I finally got it back after 13 days and they said it was just fine, and they said the wireless worked for them. Unfortunately they must not have even tested the wireless because nothing has changed and the mb had little splatters and gobs of thermal paste all over the mb including in 1 of the ram slots, so my guess is that they were behind on rma's and they just went through the basics as fast as they could. The mb works fine as long as i have a cat5 cable in it but the reason i bought the mb with wireless was to get away from the cable and that is not going to happen so don't waste your money on the wireless board.I would have to say that either the intel wireless ac 9260 is terrible or the process that gigabyte used to integrate it into the mb was bad.I've always used asus mbs in the past with never a problem and this was my first gigabyte mb and it will be my last.

Garbage
No longer powers on! The lights on mobo flash when power button is pressed and flash periodically when power button is held but that is it. I've only had it a few months. I made basic bios changes (some network options) just before this happened so i tried resetting bios with the button on the back plate and switching bios with the switch on the motherboard and still no luck. Not only that, before the motherboard died, i had an issue where sound wouldn't work properly (it was like it was stuck at 1% volume) sometimes when i booted into windows 10. One or more power cycles were needed to fix it (and at least once a plug pull was required). Sound driver update didn't fix it. Bios update didn't fix it. This is a widespread issue. You can find others talking about it on reddit, overclock forums, and gigabyte forums (as well as here and other retail sites).I originally did an exchange on outletpc for a new mobo since it was still within 30 days and the new mobo did the same thing. I have always used gigabyte but not anymore. I bought the asus rog crosshair vii hero and it works great.

Don't buy this motherboard!
This motherboard died within 20 days of normal use no overclocking or anything. Went through a whole week trouble shooting my pc just to find out it was the mobo and not my cpu or gpu, don't buy it the what ever you do just spend a bit more and go with a better brand.
