Dead clicks, jumping cursor, and dead switches
First and foremost, i want to say that i like this mouse for two reasons. I enjoy the fact that the corsair utility engine software allows you to customize your user experience, and i like the physical feel of the mouse. As someone who plays very apm (actions per minute) intensive games, precision is paramount in my ability to operate at my peak. Even outside of games and in programs like photoshop or illustrator accuracy is important as your work suffers without it. Unfortunately, both my work and play suffer because of this mouse and the functionality of the number pad buttons does not make up for it. Over the last three months of using this mouse i have experienced consistent dead clicks, cursor jumps, and other unexpected behavior that impacts usability.I had originally thought that the cursor jumping issue was due to my mousepad, however i switched to a steel series mousepad a month ago and the issue still persists. It is as well possible that the dead clicks and jumping are due to cue settings, though i've tried both my own profiles and popular ones shared by other users with no improvement. For $80, this mouse is not worth purchasing.Update:the middle click no longer functions properly after only 7 months of use. Given just how common it is both in software and games to use the middle click functionality of a mouse, this has made this product nearly unusable. I have rebound middle click to the 10, 11, and 12 keys on the number pad, however this is extremely unergonomic and impacts the usability and functionality of the mouse further as pressing these buttons deflects the cursor and they tend to stick often.
