Great replacement for a dead b350
I purchased this locally in a pinch when my b350 motherboard died. Even though i had to shell out a good bit of cash, on the bright side, i can finally use my ram at the rated speed instead of a max of 2933 like on my msi b350 tomahawk. Not to mention i can now fully utilize the newer ryzen cpus if i ever decide to upgrade. I'm using a ryzen 1700x, and had no problem manually overclocking to a modest 3.8ghz like i was doing previously, using an aftermarket cooler. The bios update procedure is less clunky than my previous mobo, too. I as well like that you can turn off the lighting effects in the bios if you don't want them. My b350 had bright red lights that i couldn't disable. The only con i'd say is that the io shroud is really bulky, and made it hard to get some of the screws in on the motherboard next to it with my case's design. They put peel off plastic on everything plastic, so be sure to remove that. I nearly overlooked some of it, and i have no idea how well it would handle heat. The manual is well laid out, illustrated, and easy to find what you need to get set up. The board has plenty of connectors for fans, and i have no complains about the layout.I can't think of anything else to add, but if i have any issues i'll be sure to revise this review later!
