Don’t bother.
The only thing i liked about these speakers was the chroma lighting. The sound quality however was a disappointment. With the bass turned down all the way, and volume at about 30, it was just way too loud. I don’t know if i received a defective unit, but it was too loud to be desktop speakers.

I like them but...
Overall, i truly do think the speakers sound very very good. I got these because they were rgb and i wanted to set them to static green to match my setup. The lighting on them isn't very bright at all, which i was abit disappointed by. I even checked razer synapse and the brightness on them is at 100%. I was very disappointed by this at first, but once i heard how nice and crisp things sound, it didn't bother me nearly as much. I was just shocked at how dim the lighting was because of how much brighter my lighting is on my other razer products i'm right now using. Besides that, i love the way they sound!

Sound and look great!
Love these speakers they sound amazing and look awesome! I wish they were a little cheaper to be honest but they were worth it! Great to complete my razer peripherals setup!

Good speakers, meh rgb
Just like most razer products, it’s really good build quality and has very nice sound. However i would avoid the chroma version unless you absolutely have to have rbg. The brightness/visibility of the rgb is not worth the price difference in my opinion. If you have a firefly mousepad, it’s about the same brightness as that, but since they’re usually pushed further back on the desk it looks even less bright. Sound quality is awesome.

These speakers are great for the price. Rgb is a nice aesthetic but obviously doesn't affect the quality of sound, so you could totally get away with the regular nommo speakers to save a few bucks (but who doesn't want rgb these days). My only gripe is the size of the speakers. The horizontal form factor of the top of the speaker was a little troublesome to position comfortably and i had to rearrange my dual monitor mount a little to accommodate them (luckily, i have a decent sized desk). The sound is great, bass boost is great; these speakers really kick.

Okay, but not the best you can do for this price point.
Well built, but not the best you can do, especially for the price. The bass that these come with will not compete with anything that a subwoofer can offer you. It's nice to be able to adjust the bass from your desktop, but you aren't going to get anything heart thumping from these. It'll be decent. They as well aren't the loudest speakers in the world, but for a desktop setup, these are fine. The sound quality is decent, like stated above. Ii'm not a competitive gamer to judge if these will give you any kinds of advantages, though from the games that i have played, these haven't offered me anything particularly special that a cheap set of desktop speakers can offer me. From the perspective of an audiophile, don't get these speakers if you're the picky type (which you probably are if you're an audiophile). While listening to music, i notice that these speakers don't pick up on some of the more subtle undertones embedded in some of my favorite tracks. Even a cheap pair of earplugs can pick up these undertones, which was disappointing. But what it lacks in that department, it excells in clarity and sharpness. Music does not become distorted even at higher volumes and music is rather enjoyable when using these, but like i said, just as long as you aren't the picky type. If you're looking into these as an alternative to saving subwoofer space, know that the bass is not only not on par with a subwoofer, but are not a space saving solution. Some of the pictures can be a bit misleading, but make no mistake, these things are huge. They are very tall, and very thick/bulky. If you have a mid-sized desk, it could honestly be a hit or miss if these will fit in with your setup. Smaller setups really have to measure out if these are worth it. I wouldn't get these if i had a small desk setup. Sadly, the last thing about these, and a big reason i only give these a 3 star, is the led lights. They're disappointing. Not flashy whatsoever, and very much muted, as they appear only around the outer rims of the base, peaking out from underneath. It actually just looks like light bleed that you would get out of the cracks of a defective monitor. If you are tempted to buy these for an extra 50 bucks, i would recommend against it. The light show that you get for that kind of money won't be well spent, nor is it worth the usb bandwidth. Although, if you buy these for 100 bucks (non led version), i'd say that's a pretty good buy for what these are. I would actually bump up the score for the 100 dollar version to a 4 star just because of its price to value ratio. The led version is a tougher sell, even for hardcore gamers that deck out their setups in led lights. This addition to your light show will be a dim underwhelming one.

Clarity but lacks bass
Great sound clarity and display. Needs about 10% more volume and definitely needs more bass. Other than that definitely great speakers i just wanted a little more.
