Worked as intended, good value
Card worked without a problem, internal fire-wire port was a plus, i leave my case open mostly and i just connected my camera to it to transfer videos. Worked great. It comes included with a changeable faceplate, which would allow installation into a slimmer pc like some of the hp or dell computers that have smaller external pci slot backplates.

The card works well and the price was right. As well included is a mini firewire to firewire cable. This allowed me to hook my hdv camcorder to a new pc. Plug n play simplicity with windows 8.

Bought for my fa-66 edirol audio capture sound card
Exactly what i needed for my firewire audio capture fa-66. My hewlett packard pavillion desktop didnt come firewire capable but i had the spare pci-e slot for this. Plugged it in and then the sound card, all works great.
