Not good for my setup
I have an outletpc basics 25' hdmi running to the back of this through a wall and ceiling for a projector installation. I liked the idea of this plate being a physical barrier between the room and the attic, but this element seems to be the failure point for my setup.I used the 25' hdmi for a couple of days before this wall plate arrived and did not have any problems; however, once this piece was installed i noticed brief signal loss when the receiver changed inputs. The projector would flicker green and white lines of digital jibberish before a clear picture would be established, and even then sometimes the clear picture would flash in a few different colors - almost as if the projector was trying to figure out what exactly it was supposed to display. However, that would go away within a few seconds and a clear picture would be displayed for a movie or game, until it was switched or powered on as well, to echo the review of another person, my son went into the adjoining game room and turned lights on and the signal was broken. I had to restart my receiver in order to get things going again. I don't know how, but it kills the signal.I can't give this a one-star because i realize my setup isn't very typical and this could be a very good product for people running this to the back of a wall mounted tv, but it performed less than adequate for my needs.
