Worth it, buy for the price.
Great card. Drivers are a little wonky at the moment but that will improve. Have it paired with an i5 9600k and smashes through games at 1440p. May have to tinker a bit to get some of the settings set right.

When it works it's great, if only it worked for more games
I've had the rx 5700 for almost a month now and it hasn't been easy. My system: ryzen 5 1600, msi b350 gaming pro motherboard, and 750watt corsair powers supply. Early drivers struggled to hand normal question like web browsing and multi-monitor support. Gaming stability has been a nightmare, with the first round of drivers i used (19.7.2) crashing out of almost half of all games i tried to play. Newer driver have seemed to improved stability, but not by enough. I cannot get many popular titles to work at all even with the latest drivers installed on a clean windows 10 install. With the 19.8.1 drivers i still have the following issues. -all ubisoft titles i own (assassins creed odyssey, far cry (3,4,primal)) will load into the game menu but then crash when i try to load an actual game. - witcher 3 loads into the game menu and crashes when the game attempts to load. -hellblade senua's sacrifice crashes before the menu can even appear -bioshock infinite loads into the game but crashes after a few minutes of gameplay. These are just the problems i've encountered from my very limited testing. I do not know if the issues are hardware or driver related, but they appear to be primarily driver issues. I ran unigine heaven benchmark and it runs fine in opengl and directx 9 modes, but immediately crashes in directx 11 mode. It seems most of the crashes occur when running modern, graphically intensive 3d titles that use the more recent directx versions. All of these issues have been time consuming and exhausting to troubleshoot, and it is made even worse by the fact that there is still no solution. I have spent many hours installing and uninstalling drivers, reinstalling windows, and updating all the drivers and bios on my system. At this point all i want is something that works.

Not as noisy as i expected, performance feels sooooo smooth and good
Not nearly as loud as i was expecting. Incredible performance. Upgraded from an rx 580. It was a very very good upgrade. Radeon software suite is so awesome. Drivers aren’t bad now and will only improve. The software suite is so useful and user friendly. Radeon chill is such a beautiful utility. Radeon anti lag is pretty cool too. Image sharpening is awesome. So glad i picked this over an rtx 2060!

The best deal, with some caveats
I got this card for productivity (blender and inventor), and it works great. Previous amd cards that i've owned have had small compatibility issues that drove me crazy... And this card did too before updating the drivers. Make sure to do that! Adobe animate still has one minor display issue with one of the tools still, but i found this acceptable. This is the loudest thing in our office at night, even more so than our (quiet) ac when its doing a render. It's not an unpleasant sound, but you should consider this if you're building a bedroom pc and you have a spouse/roommate.

Radeon 5700 "it's fast and quiet."
I purchased the radeon 5700 for a new pc build, paired w/ryzen 3700x, 32gb ram, two 1 tb nvme ssd's on an x570 mobo running windows 10. This card is faster than the gtx 2060 but about 17% under the 2070 in benchmark testing. Real world difference is negligible. An awesome value for the price of $349, considering all gpu cards today are inflated. Using amd's auto overclocking optimization bumps the speed of this card up hassle free. Paired with the above components, this system beats and i9900k with a gtx 2070 in performance by 34%. Awesome work amd.

2/2 do not work one had burn mark on pcb edit: do not return via kohls
I have tried two 5700 gpus at this point and neither worked. One of them had a burn mark on pcb as well. Amd usually gives you really good bang for buck with their products but this time the cards won't even work. My setup is a gigabyte aurous b450 pro mobo, ryzen 7 2700 (awesome processor), 16gb gskill ddr4 ram, evga 1000 watt 80+ gold psu. Sandisk ssd and windows 10 pro. I tried 2 of these gpus with this setup and it refuses to boot into windows. It will boot into the bios though. I tried everything to get it to work but no dice. Updated my bios and everything. Just would not boot into windows. I ended up going with a evga rtx 2070 xc and it booted right up no problems. I know other people have had great success with these cards but in my experience two not working in a row shows qc issues. Edit: do not return via kohls. I took the first dud of a card to kohls for an easy and convenient return. The experience at kohls was just fine and quick, however after i sent the second gpu in for a full refund i didn't see the refund for a week after outletpc received it so i contacted outletpc about this. They stated they had received the second gpu that i shipped via ups but they had not received the first from the kohls drop a full 2.5 weeks later. They said that it had shipped out the day i contacted them. So if your looking for a cash refund it could take up to 3 weeks to actually see your payment method credited with your refund if you chose to return via kohls. The got the second gpu back faster than the first.

      Quality control must be bad
Doa works fine till you load any game then you get a minute of play then either crashes the game, stops displaying or crashes my computer

It was good while it lasted.
I bought this card once, was a dud and so i replaced it with another, yet another vast amount of problems with this card. Honestly did not want to contact xfx as i doubt i would get the necessary response i want. It's a given the drivers for this card are crap, this first wave of cards is ridiculous with the amount of twists and turns its hard to even consider amd at this point. This card and i'm sure many others as well are cursed with sub-par drivers and this whole "just wait till the drivers roll out" isn't split it with me, if it's amd's fault then its their fault, but i refuse to buy these products when i can't even post or when they do i have to walk on ice due to driver support. Unacceptable for this price range and i refuse to shell out yet more money for this kind of "support".

      No issues with the blower
Needed a new gpu as i got a vr headset and my last gpu was starting to show its age (r9 390). Happy with the results and no issues with the blower. I haven't had any issues with it getting too loud. If anything, the volume sounds about the same as my last one which was open-air.

Fast, affordable, and the cooler does its job well
I can play civ 6 in 4k with details cranked up now. The blower cooler does its job well, dumping heat out the back of the case. When idle the exhaust is cool. Noise level, even under load, is minimal. After exiting civ 6 and starting gpu-z it shows gpu temp in the 60c range. Ambient temp is about 27c/80f. 140mm case fans are running slow and quiet. I had to clean install the radeon drivers after swapping out my rx 560 to get the rx 5700 to work right. After that, no problems. Download the current drivers from amd.Com, do a custom install instead of express and select clean install. If you want a great card without breaking the bank buy a rx 5700.
