Used it to have a dedicated graphics adapter in older computers with intel integrated gpu graphics to be able to use rdp with 2560*1440 or higher remote resolution (original intel integrated gpu graphics adapter is limited to full hd remote resolution). I did not intend to use it as a gaming adapter, no experience with the performance in this regard.

Win 10 anniversary edition, check. Hdmi, check. Catalyst control center, check.
I bought this for a dell precision t7500 server workstation--an absolute behemoth of a tower. One criteria for this purchase was noise reduction. Internally, the dell has all passive cooling for the cpu, north bridge and ram (24 gigs) and i didn't want to run my tv at 20db while watching moves to compensate for droning fan noise. The role of the dell monstrosity is to make a dumb tv a smart tv, while acting as a media gateway between my tv and the network storage unit housing my movies. This card is the perfect solution at an economic price, respond all of my needs and exceeding expectations, replacing the nvidia nvs card that failed. For the record, the dell is running windows 10 pro x64 and the tv is a 46" dynex with 1080p hdmi. Crisp image quality with a minor adjustment to screen scaling through the catalyst control center--something i usually don't install. If you're looking for a robust card, it's important to note diamond makes top-rated stuff in the radeon line. This card, even at gddr3 is no exception.

Bought this for gaming. Half life 2 to be exact. You'd think it would handle this software with no problem, but.....The ati firegl i replaced was much better and it was only 256. After reading the reviews and expecting more, i ended up with less.

There's nothing to complain about here -- this is a fine video card that does its job very well within its design limitations, which means a serious gamer won't be satisfied, and everyone else will. It's especially appealing because it is fanless and silent.

Love the card--it still works beautifully after nearly three years
A rare find: an inexpensive hd video card with three connections--hdmi, dvi, and vga--which all work, and will support multiple monitors simultaneously. And yes, it will support 5.1 audio (and if i remember right, 7.1 as well although i have never felt need for a 7.1 audio setup so i can't verify that). I don't do gaming, though clearly this card wasn't designed for that. It's for mostly for htpc or multiple-monitor use, and works fine for that. No problems with sound, no problems with video artifacts or ghosting--just smooth output of sharp 1080p image for high-definition video from the blu-ray discs i play in my bd drive. (too bad there isn't an inexpensive software blu-ray player that not only plays the movie but as well the supporting videos, trailers, etc.) love the card--it still works beautifully after nearly three years.
