This is not what it says it is
Be aware before you buy a replacement keyboard.I purchased this keyboard for replacement to my asus k501j laptop. If i have a question before i purchase something i contact that seller. I tried to contact this seller twice to no avail, but i really needed this replacement, so i ordered it. Knowing that outletpc will stand by the purchases, i ordered the 'exact' keyboard for my laptop.First, this is not the exact keyboard. The layout is the same, but the quality of the keyboard is cheap. Aside from that, there is a problem with an extra plastic clip that lays on the bottom of the space bar. This 'clip' has no where to slide into when you are attempting to replace this keyboard. Every time i tried to slip it in, it sprung back and therefore the space bar did not work.I tried everything and was not happy that i had to keep putting up and taking off the keyboard from the top slots. Finally, i called the computer repair shop in my town. I drove over there and even he couldn't figure out what the clip was doing there. He said, 'let's try something,' so he split off this tab and then after once again taking off the keyboard, it fit.It now is on and not a comfortable keyboard to work on. I spend a lot of time on my computer and realize now that 'you get what you pay for.'
