Did its job, and did its job well.

Nothing better for the price.
Great buy. Speed is up to par. The clicking mechanism is nice and solid so you know when it's locked. The 18" is plenty of cable to get it where you need it to go, no matter how big your tower.

Gotta love good sata cables.
Tossed two new ssds in my rig for a raid 0 array to hold my premiere projects and games, so i needed some more sata cables. These were cheap and work just fine! The black makes them fit nicely in my build, and the locking latch is handy since they're held tight with my cable ties.

Just what i was looking for
Works great. Looks much different than most sata cables that i've bought in the past but works just as well.

Monoprice
Typical monoprice quality. I have purchased tons of stuff from them with never a single problem.Used this to replace a platter hard drive with an sad. Worked perfectly with no flaws or issues to report. Cable locks onto the connectors for a sure fit. Sata revision 3.0 (aka sata iii) provides up to 6 gbps data throughput. As well backwards compatible sata i and ii. Cant beat the price either.

i have a dell dimension 9200 and a 160 gb SATA2 hard drive. i was looking at buying a SATA3 hard drive to put in alongside my SATA2. My question is: will this SATA3 cable fit in a Dell Dimension 9200 and will it be compatible with SATA2 connectors.

By Customer Service on 2013-04-15

Answer:
SATA III is backward compatible with SATA II, so you shouldn't have any problem mixing the two. This cable will work with your Dell desktop system.
