Technically i think one of those is 530mb/s but yeah- pretty nice ssd for the price
For a budget drive this thing kicks butt. I installed this into a build i did for my wife and it boots in about 12 seconds from power press to actual log in screen. Additionally i've had no issues so far. Plus did i mention it's a budget drive with 550mb read/write speeds? Technically i think one of those is 530mb/s but yeah- pretty nice ssd for the price.

Good speed even on older computers
Bought one of these in the summer of 2015 to go in my girlfriend's windows 7 pc (built in 2008). Her old kingston 96gb ssd was running out of space (even though photos, videos and documents are stored on a secondary hard drive). So i hooked up the new mushkin eco 240gb ssd inside her pc and cloned the entire contents of her old drive onto the mushkin. Then shutdown the computer, removed the old drive and put it away for safekeeping in case it's ever needed. Turned on the computer and, without even going into the system bios to set the mushkin as the "1st boot device", it found the new ssd and booted right up a couple of seconds faster than the old ssd. She has many programs which load at startup, yet the pc boots up ready to use in about 25 seconds. This new mushkin ssd has worked flawlessly and quickly for several months so we feel confident recommending it to anyone who wants a fast budget-price ssd. As well, it's worth getting the 240gb (or larger) model over the 120gb because the "write" speed is faster on the larger capacity drive. In case you don't already know, a 240gb drive yields approximately 223gb of usable space after formatting.System:antec sonata caseintel motherboard (socket 775)intel core2duo e6750 cpu 2.66ghz2 x 2gb ddr-800 ram memorymsi radeon hd4550 video/graphics cardmushkin enhanced eco 240gb ssdwindows 7 home premium 64-bit

I don't know how it compares with other ssds, but it does the job for my wife. It is so much faster than a regular hdd.
