Great fans
installed these fans a week ago, they are very quiet and I love the colors. I would definitely recommend this product, they could be a bit cheaper

Quiet... Do you hear that - it's the sound of nothing....
Disclaimer - i'm not a gamer, i just wanted some peace and quiet :)backgroundi am a photographer, and a number of years ago right when i was getting ready to replace my previous computer and while trying to decide what to buy, a friend gave me an intel processor valued at just over $1,000. This completely changed my direction, because having spent the previous 18 years at dell, i had always only purchased dell. Now, i was faced with the daunting question of building my own computer. Not quite feeling up to the question i solicited the help of another friend who told me what to buy, and he came over to the house and we built the computer. I couldn’t tell you exactly what was in the computer since he had done all the research and it was all outside my zone of expertise - all i know is for my work in processing raw photographs and everything i needed to do in photoshop, this was the cat’s pajamas. It’s been a few years since the computer was built and it still performs beautifully except for one thing - the noise of the fans. There are three fans in place that have always kept everything running smoothly, with one at the front of the tower aimed at the 6 hard drives, another on the left side of the case bringing in air targeted at the motherboard and processor, and the third in the ‘roof’ of the case extracting warm air out of the case. While these fans still “worked”, the noise had been ticking me off for quite some time, but i hadn’t got around to replacing them. I prefer pristine operating conditions for everything, but the noise of these fans meant that the computer had to spend the last few years under my office desk. That in itself became its own frustration because of the fact that i know it’s so much more dusty down there, but more than that, every time i need to plug thing in or unplug them i have to do a deep dive under the desk. When i saw these fans come up on outletpc and reading the description, i figured they might be the solution.Use:first, i had heard of the brand and knew from friends that had various components from corsair in their rigs that they were quality components. In opening the box, i was a little surprised with the extra boxes and cables, but it made sense when i read the instructions.Installation is easy with the guide, and everything is included to get fully setup, so swapping out my 3 existing fans for the 3 new corsair just involves a few screws, and the addition of the control hub, and connecting the power cables. I didn't time it, and i wasn't in a rush, but i think by the time i was ready to power the computer back on it was around 20 minutes.Once powered on, the absolute quiet was incredibly refreshing, and cheered me up to no end. I had put up with noise for so long that while i had expected it to be better, i wasn’t ready to be this delighted. The lighting which is controlled through corsair link is a lot of fun, and even somewhat relaxing depending on which option you settle on. Sadly for me, if i am retouching photographs, i don’t want any lights reflecting on my monitors, but thankfully i can turn the leds off in the software, but once i’m done, i can bring the pulsing blue back to life.Summary:while i am not a gamer, and i am not technical enough to talk about airflow, or static pressure, and while this is not a huge mod, his is the most tricked out computer i have ever had - before this everything was just merely functional, and not interesting to look at, and i love that extra layer of customization that is possible these days. The big win for me though is the quiet operation of the fans, and if you are looking for a replacement cooling solution that is a lot of fun, then you should strongly consider this addition to your rig :)p.S. In the individual categories, i gave it 5 stars for durability, but that is what i think the durability will be since i haven't had them in use for long enough yet to really tell. Having said that, the materials used and the way it is all put together is really high quality so i expect these will last for a very long time.

Don't buy
I bought 2 3-packs. Of the 6 fans two do not work. One has bad led and the other the fan does not operate. It is very hard to remove plug from connector. The instructions suck!

You're paying a 25% premium for led lighting
I've got a i7 gaming computer for my dota and fortnite action. My case takes three 120mm fans and i went ahead and installed these in their place. At $35 per fan, this is anywhere from $5-$10 more per fan.I will tell you though, holding one of these fans in my hand it was readily apparent that the material and workmanship of these fans is high-end.I used my fan controller software to try out various settings and most notably as 100% these fans have no rotor noise! Even with my head right down next to the fan you can not hear the rotor, only the sound of air moving.Another nice thing to point out is the 5 year warranty on these fans. This is a nice plus compared to some of the basic fans included in cases that only carry the 1 year. All in all, these are some high end fans that move a lot of air without any noise. The software to configure/customize the lights on the fans is a little wonky, but you're buying the fan to be a fan first right?

Rgb aside, they are the highest quality fans i have ever used.
I bought them for the rgb. But hands down they are the quietest fans i have ever used. The design with the rubber tabs by the screw, perfect to prevent rattling. The overall fan spinning is hardly noticeable. If i could make one wish for them it would be detachable cables that can be ordered in packs of various lengths for pro level cable management. But no one does that yet, so it is just a dream for now.

It works like charm! These fans are far most beautiful fans with performance. And it's cheaper to compare other corsair rgb fans.(hd120 doesn't include lighting node)
