Cheap for cheap
When you order a power adapter that ranges in price from $6.00 - $80.00 it's pretty hard to be guaranteed of anything. I've spent $75 and i've spent $6.50 and they've both been about the same in quality. The more expensive one was longer, but they both got hot and wore out fast. When it comes to power adapters i've been buying replacements for so long that experience has left my expectations pretty low, so i buy cheap and keep a spare because the manufacturers have made actual replacements ridiculous in price and they fry just like the rest. Just like all the others, this series gets hot so i'm sure it will become a wad of duct tape holding lose parts together until the pin breaks or it just burns out and i have to switch to the backup and order another. I've had it a month, it came when promised and works, so long as it doesn't start a fire or fry my wife's laptop then i think $6.50 is a pretty good deal. Thank god for duct tape, the universal equalizer of a market filled with poor quality at all prices.
