Ssd mounting bracket
Allows you to mount a 3.5in ssd into a 5.25(hard drive) bay.Came in handy, had a 1st gen ssd that was 3.5most are 2.5 these days.Screwed down snug. Good base for the drive.

Do not buy these for 2.5" drives!
I bought some of these to mount some ssds in my desktop mid-tower. The product advertises the ability to screw on two 2.5" drives to a pair of brackets, but i couldn't even get one on because the screw holes are not in the right places. They are perhaps 1-2mm off, which is a big enough error to make putting 2 screws into each side of a drive impossible. Even getting 1 screw in per side is difficult, if not futile, because the way the holes were punched through the metal makes any single screw a loose fit. Shipping them back would probably cost too much, so i'll be buying something else. Disappointed.

Internal hard drive brackets
This would be great for an internal install. I should have read a little farther to make sure it would hold an exposed drive. It's perfect for what it is.

Doesn't fit anything
Something went horribly wrong in the fabrication of this bracket because there is no configuration where you'll actually get this thing to fit an ssd drive unless you drill your own mounting holes like i did (because you've had to return four items for your new build already and the last bracket you ordered was opened and missing parts and you're just plain tired of ordering and returning defective items). Even then once you try to place it in the drive bay you'll find it is way oversized. There must have been a scaling error in the conversion from metric to imperial units or something. I can't figure out any other reason why this thing would actually be sent the cnc milling shop for production.Unfortunately i can't get a refund now because i already drilled new holes into the brackets.Avoid like the plague.
