Working fine, but it limit the speed of the msata drives.

Sata is not available on the one i received
Update (2017-02-24:) i completed a rma and the unit was replaced. Same issue, however, was present with the replacement. Same three pins were severed, presumably the sata power pins that cause the unit to not function (power) when using the sata connector. This unit is possibly misrepresented as sata compatible when really it's only usb.Original review: the one i received does not function with sata, only usb. From the image attached you can see that there are three pins that are not connected on the power side. There's no indication of power when connected with sata. I need to do an rma

This thing is awesome. I've purchased three so far.
This thing is awesome. I've purchased three so far. It's exactly what you think it is: take two msata ssds and merge into a single super fast drive for sata. I used one as a replacement hdd for a linux install in my macbook pro and the other is in my server as the os drive. Mac set to raid0 and the server to raid1.I saw some questions about configuring and setting up this device to use both drives.Step1: set the switches to whatever configuration you want. Insert your msata drives.Step2: connect your syba card to your computer via the usb 3.0 connection/cable.Step3: open disk management and your computer will recognize two drives.Step4: press and hold the reset button next to the usb plug on your syba card until computer indicates that your drive has disconnect and connected. It should now show a single drive. Use disk management to make, format or leave unallocated if installing os to it.

But i was able to easily fiddle with the dip switches and find the settings ...
This product allowed me to attach two 500gb samsung msata drives as jbod and raid 0.Issues:1. Instructions don't seem to meet up with reality. But i was able to easily fiddle with the dip switches and find the settings that actually work.2. The sata connection is very flimsy. I broke the first one. With the sata connection broken i could still use the usb output but it no longer fit my purpose. So i bought another one. I haven't broken this one (yet). The connection is so delicate that normal moving and scrunching of cables will break it. I couldn't find anything else in this price point so i'm living with it. The usb connection is apparently much stronger.3. Vmware esxi will not use the drive. But, windows, fedora and ubuntu linux and citrix xenserver have no problem. So it should work in most applications.I haven't done any speed tests with it but it seems to perform at least as well as the single msata drive. I didn't buy it for speed as much as a way to use these msata drives in systems that didn't have the connection.

Great premise, but poor workmanship
Great premise, but the soldered terminals for the sata connections were not all soldered, and due to the inadvertent force i applied to connect the cabling, the remaining soldered terminals snapped. My fault for applying too much pressure, but the missing soldered terminals might have prevented it's damage. I was able to use it as usb3.0 only, but will not be able to use it as a raid sata drive.

handy adapter
You need to make sure your sata port can do port multiplication, but if it can't-- the usb 3 port works just fine. This adapter worked great for me.

Worked perfectly, didn't need drivers, it was recognized.

Bad speeds on RAID0
The msata raid0 adapter makes the ssd's bordeline pointless.Seq read/writes are ok, but random 4k and 4k-64thrd read-20-25mb/s, writes 7.29mb/s
