Five stars
This is a great looking, inexpensive, and quiet case fan. Not much else to say

Great fans for a custom case. These are 1krpm by the way.
There are a few mixed opinions on here, so i wanted to weigh in with a fairly experienced point of view. The people who have mentioned the amount of air these push are right in that 1krpm is a minimum. If you go any slower the fan will likely not even turn smoothly and will make a ton of noise while pushing zero air.So who would want these fans and why? I use these fans for exhaust in places where i know they will be seen. For the exact same money on outletpc you can get the "sickleflow" models which are lighted and they are 2k rpm. They have a black frame however and if you want to run them silently you will have to leave them around half power. This means half the led light plus the opaque, black frame takes a lot away. You will not get the effect you want out of those. With these fans i put them in places where 1krpm is enough, and as an added bonus because they are fully transparent and running at max power they glow prodigiously. If it is your first build heed my advice. 2krpm is good for inlet and if you have a controller you shouldn't have any issue finding the right speed for them. Once you've got air coming in then you can use these for exhaust. If you play your cards right you can have a bunch of these running at full speed without a fan speed controller and it will still be whisper quiet plus you will have a really glowey case.Good luck to all you homebrewers and remember that with these fans you do not even need the fan speed controller. They are gonna be running at max power anyways, so think of them as freebies if you don't have anymore room on your controller.

Super quiet, easy to install, great price!
I just installed two of these in my nzxt source 210 case  as top exhaust fans. I also picked up a thermaltake riing 12, which was double the price, to serve as my side panel intake fan. Honestly, i can't say that there's a justifiable reason to purchase the more expensive riing over this pure 12 fan. Even though it lacks the rubber feet to dampen vibrations, it is seriously the quietest fan i have ever installed. I had to double check (with a flashlight) to make sure the blades were even spinning when i manually cranked it up to max rpms. The red led's are a bit bright for my personal tastes, but its not a strong enough negative to mark the fan down, because its a great fan for the price! My i7 haswell 4790k was idling at 50'c before installing. I am now comfortably idling at 30'c and when in the throes of a serious diablo 3 rift or hots match, i'm holding strong in the mid-60'c. No problems controlling the fan speeds in my msi command center (motherboard gui software) from my desktop. All around a simple, easy install and a fast + quiet fix to cooling problems!

Great little fan. The leds are bright and the airflow is good. Used this for an exhaust and i'm very happy.
