Good product
Very nice way to extend motherboard usb 3 header to front panel on a case which has only usb 2 panel. Looks good, well made.

Gets the job done
I was looking for something simple to add usb3 to my front panel. If you don't care about audio i/o, or memory card slots, this one has the quality and price point to make you fall in love with it.Make sure your mobo has a 9-pin connector and you're good to go. I was able to get the same speeds as usb's that come with my mobo.Strongly recommend.

Fits perfectly.
This is the one you want if you are trying to get the usb 3.0 connectors into the space on the front of the case where the floppy drive used to be.It has several different sets of holes to choose from to get it aligned. And i really like the 19 pin connector that plugged right into my new asus motherboard.Great choice.

Works great
Perfect as promised in the description. Added it to a gigabyte 7 series to the front panel of my case

Love it
I put it right on my case and love it! See, most mobo's and boxes have the 3.0's on the back, but on a desktop, that's just more than a little inconvenient. So, since i'm not using any floppy disks (i mean seriously, that much dust would bring on a coughing fit like no other) i decided to use this to make use of my 3.5 bays. No disappointments. Loving the 3.0 speeds!

What good is usb 3.0?
Bought this to fill a spot in my case, hoping for faster transfer speeds to flash cards. Bought a usb 3.0 reader too. It turns out that the architecture in general does not accomplish the promise of usb 3.0, that promise is not a plug-and-play reality yet. This is an unnecessary component for 99% of us.

Works great
Works great no need to install any drivers for it.Just remember you have to have the 19 pin connection on your mobo.If your mobo doesn't have one you can get the pci-e card " syba sd-pex20122 2 port usb 3.0 with 19 pin header pci-e x1 card" .Good job syba

Some flaws
This worked but it is a bit flimsy and the front of the unit will bend with little force. The 19 pin connector is not sturdy either. I had to ret;urn one unit because when i had to move the connector to reroute the cable, the pins pulled completely apart leaving the blue part dangling from the motherboard. Other than these flaws, electronically it seems to work.

Worked perfectly
It mounted easily in the drive bay because the screw hole were in the right spot and of the standard size/thread. Plugs directly in the header on the motherboard and that end of the cable is marked clearly enough with a tab to make orienting the cable right by site or feel easy enough. The only thing a bit funny is the face plate has a slight backwards slope to it, presumably to make access easier. Because of this, it did not mount exactly flush in my drive bay.

It's a hub...
It adds 2 usb 3 ports, the ports are a bit snug; but all in all a decent front panel extender.

What is the length of the header cable? For the Syba CL-HUB20113 2-Port USB 3.0 3.5" Front Panel Hub w/ Header Cable.... It's weird. Things we used to take for granted practically got thrown out the window lately. Shame cause I just wanted to grab one.

By Customer Service on 2012-05-29

Answer:
The cable is 19" in length.
