Good for smaller devices like netbooks or i3 laptops. Can't power a full-sized i7 laptop.
It worked on some devices but not on others. It worked just fine on a netbook and an i3 gateway laptop. The led on the power block stayed on and charging during use.Fast forward to 2017, when i dug it out for travel and this time i took my acr aspire v3, i7 laptop. With an intel i7 cpu and 17" monitor. The laptop has 2 video modes. Regular and then there is the use of the geforce 850m. Switching video modes to the video card normally makes the i7 run hotter, as you hear the cooling fan turn on more often (if not all the time). The power adapter could not keep up. Not by a long shot. The laptop screen would be normal, then drop to a dimmer state. Then bright again, then dimmer. The led on the innergie mcube power block would go off and on, back and forth, as it struggled to provide enough power.I used it in a new pacifica van, while on vacation. It did not matter if the van was running or not. Whether ignition was off and the van parked. Or parked with engine running. No joy for powering the i7.So for smaller, less power hungry devices like a netbook ,chromebook or small i3 laptop, it works fine. But if you need to use with an i7, don't count on this as your only charging solution.
