It's a great keyboard. I came from a membrane keyboard and this is a thousand times better. With my old keyboard (kb-chm-mbblus-01), the large keys (space, enter, etc.) wouldn't register unless you pressed them in the direct middle with a decent amount of force. With the cherry mx brown switches you can feel when it actuates and know that it actually registered. That is really just more of a complement to the mechanical switches, not necessarily the keyboard. The metal bar around the keyboard adds a really nice aesthetic to it, plus a lot of strength. The brushed aluminum backplate looks really nice and very premium, but as i'm sure everyone knows at this point, is a fingerprint magnet.I haven't even had this for a week yet and i can already see some fingerprints around the arrow keys where i removed the keycaps. The backlighted is very nice. It has a red tinge over the keyboard which blends in well with my setup. At its brightest it is pretty bright, so i keep it at it's lowest setting. The profile, windows lock, brightness, timer (ikr, weird), and media keys all have a nice metal look to them which blends in well with the bar on the outside and aluminum plate. On a previous keyboard i owned, the media keys didn't have backlighting, so if i was watching something in the dark, it was hard to see what i was pressing. These are all backlit which is really nice, though. The volume indicator is a really nice addition as well. The volume wheel is super nice. You can really feel where it is with texture on it.The wrist rest is probably the worst part about this keyboard and it is great. The texture feels really nice on my skin and doesn't irritate it at all. The only bad thing about it is the indent in the middle, which it sort of awkward to type with, but only takes about a day to get used to. After that, i could type normal. All in all, this is a very nice keyboard that i would fully recommend to anybody in the market for a mechanical keyboard.
