Still has potential, software needs work.
Bought this from bb because it's been out of stock for so long here on outletpc but i wanted to write this review in case this is anyone else's usual first stop.Bit disappointed in this one.Firstly the mouse has a great overall feel and is very comfortable. My grip is somewhat a combo between palm and fingertip, but i attribute that to my slightly larger than average hands. This mouse fits my entire hand. The extra pinky grip is great. The mouse wheel is fantastic compared to my old sabre rgb.The one problem is the forward button on the left. Even with my hands it's impossible to reach without moving my hand out of position, making it utterly unusable in a gaming situation. The sniper button is prominent making this a fairly decent go-to mouse for any fps game. Lacks other easy access buttons making it less useful for mobas and mmos.Update: i have come to fall out of love with the shape. While it is phenomenally more comfortable than any other mouse i have used, the side buttons are utterly useless for me. I tend to keep my palm on the bottom/back of the mouse so to have my thumb in proper position i have to choke up on the mouse, and use a full palm grip, which is uncomfortable for me, it might just take some getting use to but i'm not a huge fan. I liked my fingertip grip thank you very much.... However, perfect if you prefer a palm grip.Furthermore, like most people have said the battery life is a joke. I have to charge it every two-three days, and i mostly play with an xbox controller and turn the mouse off when i am not using it. By my estimates i'd say its got about an 8-10 hour battery life with the led's on. They say to have a longer life turn the led's off, but why the heck would i pay $100 for an rgb mouse and not use the rgb??The feel of the mouse is great. It is quite a bit heavier than even my sabre rgb, which was a 100g mouse, which is already considered heavy by some, this one is a whopping 128g. Despite that, it's got some really nice glide pads on the bottom and it moves quickly and effortlessly across my mm800 hard-surface pad.The software was a bit of a hassle but being familiar with corsair products and cue software it was not a big deal for me to get it going. I had to dl the latest version of cue directly from the corsair site because for whatever reason my version of cue did not reflect the latest version and for a while i was unable to update the mouse firmware. After uninstalling my version of cue and doing a fresh download of the latest version, i was able to update the mouse with no issues.Corsair software speaks for itself. Super easy to use and customize whatever you want. (jk did more digging, update below)update: after playing around some, i am pretty p.O.'d with this mouse now. It has no lighting link, like almost every other corsair peripheral i own. I have a k95, void wireless, mm800 polaris, even the flipping st100... All have lighting link and work great with cue. Not this stupid mouse. Will not sync with any of my peripherals at all..As far as i can tell this thing is just as fast in 2.4ghz wireless mode as it is with the wire attached. Super impressed they were able to get that down. The huge thing i hate about this mouse is right now it does not show up in cue in bluetooth mode. This utterly sucks. It is not customizable at all, meaning that nice bt option makes it nothing more than a plug and play mouse with decent dpi settings and 3 profiles that you have no real control over, set on a rainbow color phase lighting mode, again with no control over. All in all it's still a fairly solid mouse, looks great, feels great and is unencumbered by wires (except when you have to charge it pretty much every other day). Anyways until it becomes responsive in bluetooth mode, 3 stars is all she gets.Update: overall it is a good quality mouse albeit a little larger than my taste, fantastic tracking, no discernable lag, but the battery life is a joke and the software is way too limited for a corsair product. Until they get their crap together and fix the software, i don't like and i'm tempted to go back to my sabre rgb after i get it rma'd

Update 4/13/17my rma experience was terrible and took about 6 weeks to get my items replaced. On the plus side they sent me brand new stuff... But i do not want to open it because i am on corsairs forums and cue software / wireless issues are still common. I have talked to at least 4 team members from corsair and they can't tell me what issues they are specifically addressing, if any at all. Sorry corsair, your designs are beautiful, but when it comes to wireless you did not do well. Hardware should not be so reliant on the software for basic, reliable functionality. My original score was 2. I'm taking it down to 1 based on my rma experience.Update 3/2/17 - have had this stuff just over a month, after trouble shooting that ranged from re-installing software and firmware to tinkering with my bios (really, that was very complicated even for me) at the behest of corsair's customer support, it's escalated into an rma request by them to see what's wrong with my stuff. My keyboard started to have issues too, but i think that's just from messing with the mouse. Either way. It cost 20 dollars on top of the $200+ i already dropped on the gear (have the lapboard too) and i'm not guaranteed results still. Feeling really bad about this right now. Will update to 1 star if they don't fix it, alternatively my score might go up if they actually give me back functioning products.Original review:ugh, i went all in on the lapboard, wireless k63, and their new mouse. That makes my third mechanical corsair keyboard, and they are a brand i love... And worth noting, i'm very happy with the keyboard / lapboard combo. So when this came in the mail, after a couple weeks of waiting through the backorder, i was pumped - it looked and felt awesome! But my excitement turned into frustration very soon; to get the most out of this mouse, you're going to need to install the corsair cue software (customize dpi settings and buttons as well as rgbs). I wasn't using cue for keyboard because really, the only thing you'd play with on that are the rgbs, and since they are just blue, i didn't download it until my mouse came.So onto the software... It ruins this product. It stutters and freezes all the time, fails to recognize hardware (even on a hardwired usb connection), and because of that, it took about 15 tries to update my mouse and keyboards firmware. Once i finally updated my firmwares, it didn't make a noticeable difference. Cue even fails on startup! When the computer starts up, everything works fine for my login screen. I type my password, and then cue kicks in, and disconnects my gear for about 30 seconds before it finds it again. Sometimes i need to get up and replug the dongles, exacerbating this issue. Other times that 30 second disconnect kicks my dpi up to some extreme, and it as well becomes impossible to use when that happens. If, like me, you power a pc up/down 4+times a day this gets annoying fast.I have gone as far as re-installing a fresh copy of windows on my laptop (was due for a refresh anyway) so technically i've tried cue on 3 different setups as well tested it out on a desktop) and it's just ruining a product i want to love. I'm going to hang onto the mouse and hope they fix it, but this is a huge letdown!

Remapping issues are persistent
The program that operates this mouse, corsair utility engine (cue), is very problematic. There are buttons on the side you can map -- say, if you want the side "sniper" button to function as a ctrl key -- but it rarely works. You have to keep cue running and even then, the mapping just stops working after a few minutes. All the troubleshooting advice i've seen corsair give (repairing the software) does not fix the problem. I've seen this issue noted in reviews of the mouse, which i wish i'd read before buying it.This is an expensive mouse that's paired with an equally expensive charging pad. If you're going to spend that much on a premium product, it should work properly.

Good but not great
Update: i've now used the mouse for almost 2 weeks and a glaring issue has come about, the mouse has abysmally bad battery life. 1 day at most. If you forget to plug it in or put on the charging pad on the mm1000 after a day of use, you will have maybe an hour or 2 of use before it dies.Original:in the first few hours of using this there are are a few issues apparent and a few... Design choices, that one has to get used to with this mouse.Other than these small issues i've come across i do actually like this mouse1. Nothing on the mouse can be controlled over the cue when it is connected with bluetooth, so this may be a slight issue if you plan on using it as a bluetooth mouse on a laptop with very few usb ports.2. If you have been using another mouse, the ergonomics will take some getting used to, the sniper button between back and forward puts the forward button so far up that it may feel off if you use it often, the pinky rest feels too small near the back of the mouseother than these issues and the others that come with using the cue (which most corsair owners should know about already)it feels liek a good mouse, i may update my review in the future if it comes to have the issue that the glaive and m65 have with the switches

Has horrible software flaws that break it usability, specially for gaming
The build is excellent, coming from logitech g502. The wireless quality works well and the move from wired to wireless is flawless (even for gaming). But! There is a major deal breaker. Once every several minutes (usually when there is a hike in cpu usage like for example opening a youtube video) it's looses connection and jumps to definite constant place. It resolves automatically and very quickly but it's annoying and actually breaks it's usability specially for gaming. The forums are filled with reports about this issue and corsair just suggest ridiculous solutions such as re-flushing manually the current firmware. The problem is a clear software issue. So replacing it is meaningless.

A great mouse, with powerful customization
The mouse is great! I love the feel of it in my hand, coming from a razer mouse with a similar shape, it felt very natural where i?€™ve often found other mice awkward. The tracking is solid both wired and wireless, and the cue configuration software is extremely powerful and flexible, when it works. My only gripe is that cue software, i encountered an issue where i had to remove and reinstall the utility, because my custom bindings were not working. The buttons didn?€™t perform their original action, and didn?€™t perform the custom bindings either. I don?€™t know what the cause of this was, and it has not happened again since.

Excellent product for the price
Moving on from a razer naga hex. The mouse feels nicely weighty, there are 6 provided buttons with 3 in easy reach, and although the software takes some getting used to, it is fully featured. I am fully happy with my purchase, especially considering the price point of other wireless gaming mice in the same range.

This was for me and i love it. I could not find this locally from any retailer. It functions like it should and i have had no issues unlike those who've posted past reviews.
