Works for windows mixed reality
The usb 3.0 ports built into my motherboard were not compatible with wmr, so i picked up this card.As i understand it, most wmr headsets don't have an external power supply, and instead get their power from the usb port. The hiccup is that many usb 3 ports don't put out enough power to power the headsets.Where this usb 3 card shines is it has a molex power connector port on it: just attach a molex power cable from your psu, and presto, your ports can support pretty much any device that pulls power over usb. Just make sure you do in fact have a free molex connector on your psu, and that your psu has enough wattage overhead to support your other components.

Nothing bad to say about this little card. Super simple install, operates flawlessly. Couldn't be happier with it.

Oh dear sorrow
Would have been perfect if my graphics card was not in the way of where it goes.

Doesn’t work on amd
I have an amd ryzen 5 1600x, msi x370 motherboard, and 32 gbs of ram. I tried the card in each pci-e slot, with and without the 4 pin power connector, and it was detected but would alway give a code 10 error in device manager. The disk nor any drivers on the website would work.
