Great gaming monitor with the best (current) specs! Acer's "predator" is top notch!
Acer predator xb271hk bmiprz 27-inch ips uhd (3840 x 2160) nvidia g-sync widescreen display (2 x 2w speakers, 4- usb 3.0 ports, hdmi & display port) this monitor comes with 27' of ips uhd display and 4ms, g-sync for gaming! You can't get anything below 4ms because it's an ips panel not tn and in games you can't tell the difference. Great size for uhd. G-sync really helps in games with any video card you may have. Colors have a 100% srgb accuracy and the black light bleed is very minimal, not noticeable at all unless looking at a pitch black screen with brightness and contrast at 100%. The upscaling from 1080p to uhd is 150% and looks amazing on the desktop and webpages. Games have good performance (gtx 770) with many settings lowered. Skip the asus rogs until asus fixes their qc and black light issues. Get yourself a 1070/1080 for optimal 4k gaming and you're good to go. So far so good, will update if something goes wrong with it. Thanks!Update: after a month of use, and an upgrade to a 1070sc i noticed:1. Games perform great with g-sync on and v-sync off in games, avrg fps: 45-50 with max settings.2. The occasional split-second flicker happens around every 5 hours or so but it's never been a distraction.3. The price went up on this monitor, i think it's best to wait till it drops to around $760 again.4. The backlight bleed is never a distraction and it's only worse in the bottom left corner, but again, nothing to worry about, everyone has some.5. 4ms response in fps games is ideal, no need for 1ms to see everyone quickly.I'll write back if there's a change for the worse or it stops working. Thanks!
