Not compatible at this time with wd blue m.2 ssd / sandisk x400 m.2 ssd.
Not compatible at this time with wd blue m.2 ssd / sandisk x400 m.2 ssd. Span mode enabled with mac os sierra 10.12 to make a 2tb volume, but span maxes out at 1tb size even when using two 1tb m.2 ssd in this syba adapter.

RAID0 is slow slow slow
First, in jbod it doesn't show as 2 separate devices. I don't exactly know what jbod even does - just span across both drives? But that's not why i bought this. I was going to set it up as a cache drive. Unfortunately, i'm getting really poor performance with this in raid 0.Write: 210mbytes/secread: 50-60mbytes/seci took the ssds out of the enclosure and attached each using a simple sata to m.2 converter and my speeds were:write: 300mbytes/secread: 410mbytes/secso it seems this thing isn't very efficient. I'll test it again soon as raid1 to see if speeds improve. (if they do, i'll bump my score to 3 stars.)

Be aware! This is NOT a true RAID adapter ...
Be aware ! This is not a true raid adapter. It is merely a port duplicator using an asmedia chip (asm1092r) which is not exactly a performer and provides no raid features of any kind.
