Super responsive for gaming
Butter-smooth typing. Elimination of num-pad optimized my workstation ergonomics. Super responsive for gaming. Linux-compatible with ckb. Highly recommended

Worth the price, but it is still just a keyboard.
Let us be honest and say that paying $130-$145 (depending where you get it) is a lot of money. I've had this keyboard for roughly 7 months or so and i have no regrets about buying it. I previously used a razer blackwidow ultimate mx blue keyboard, but decided i wanted something a little more compact rather than the typical full size keyboard and the k65 rgb was all that best buy had when i was browsing their selection. I wouldn't say that having rgb justifies the need to spend so much, but having the ability to make any color you want is nice, but seriously don't let rgb be the reason you buy this. I personally enjoy this over my blackwidow due to the small spacing of the keys. I don't have large hands and once i adjusted to the smaller keyboard i really grew to enjoy it. I personally prefer to have mx blue switches; although, i have been more than pleased with having reds. You'll need to usb ports for power. The brushed metal is a nice look and gives a better sense of durability over a plastic body. There are separate buttons for volume control, one to mute, one to lock the widows key, and one to toggle between 3 brightness levels. The texture on the keys feel great. Overall a nice keyboard.Biggest flaw would have to be the software; it is complete garbage. If i remember right there was a digital manual 3x longer than your standard user agreement form that no one reads. You could just download some type of scheme online and never need to learn how to use it and problem solved. To sum things up, if you're looking at this review then you have probably been looking at other brands and trying to justify why you should spend this much money on a corsair keyboard, rather than say razer, or any other brand. This is the keyboard for you if you don't have the largest hands and prefer something compact.
Five stars

Don't buy it for the plam rest. It's useless.
I have med/small hands and my palm is completely off the rest with my index finger on the f key and my hand in normal touch typing position.
Three stars
For every typing error i make there will b a star taken of.

Near perfect
I have medium hands. Unlike another reviewer, the heel of my hand rests in the middle of the rest. I have arthritis & the wrist rest is extremely important to me. This wrist rest provides hours of gaming & typing in comfort. The tenkeyless size is perfect for gaming. Pros (counter strike) using full size keyboards have theirs at a 45 degree angle so both their hands can be at a comfortable distance apart. To combat this, many counter strike pros use this more compact keyboard, including zyp9x of astralis & karrigan of faze clan. The keyboard is built like a tank & includes separate media keys. Every key can be individually lit per the rgb lighting & corsair software. It's as well very easy to clean.Nothing is perfect, but the k65 rgb lux is close.I should mention i'm not a corsair fan. I use the best peripherals that are suited to me regardless of who makes it. I researched many & the k65 rgb lux was the winner by a country mile.I recommend it without reservation.

Great keyboard, cue sucks
Love this keyboardcorsair utility engine, or cue, sucks, utter garbage. Trash layout, poor options menus. This keyboard doesn't have a memory profile on the keyboard, so you must have the cue software running at all times for rgb. Rbg glitches out often, definite keys will go on the fritz for a millisecond and then behave again, according to the color pattern, which can be distracting, but overall it's fine. Keyboard is great, cue sucks big time.

Heavy-duty eye-candy rgb goodness
coming from a laptop and a hand-me-down keyboard, my first unboxing impression was that it is built like a tank! Heavy, aluminum chassis and a thick, braided power usb cord, which may seem a little too heavy duty for some, but i dig it, and it will be run through a hole in my desk anyway. The wrist rest is removable by plastic clips, not screws. If you plan on removing it daily, then it will wear over time. Comes with spare and textured gaming keys, great packaging and a straightforward instruction manual. The keys are cherry red and aren't too loud, in case you are a live-streamer.The key caps can be easily removed to clean any grime. No keypad! Never used one before anyway. You can lock the windows key just in case you may tap by accident and kick yourself out of your game, and as well has volume and mute buttons built-in. 5 stars, but 2 stars for the software. I have yet to find a way to click through led schemes with the keyboard, although you can program some sick rgb stuff, i would like to set it and forget it.Looks great, feels great, has a dim and off button, reminds me of something batman would have in his bat-cave. $99 at best buy and i'm happy with it and glad i chose it over a $20 no name brand.
Best keyboard i have ever owned
Quality is on point. Certified refurbished came in like a brand new keyboard can't even tell that it was once used. Price is very much worth. Compared to competitors such as the blackwidow x chroma, i much prefer this because of the build quality. As well this comes in cherry mx red, which the blackwidow does not offer!

My 2nd mechanical kbi upgraded from a quickfire with cherry blues, which is still a beast keyboard. This k65 almost feels lighter than my quickfire even though it has a metal plate on top, its strange but still feels solid. Its so much easier to blow the dust out with the open key design and the metal plate is cold to the touch, i like it.Things i dont like:-the massive thick braided non removable cable which as well wont fit though my desks cable routing hole because of all the excess plastic-the wrist wrest is pretty useless if you have normal sized or bigger hands like me, it just forces my hand into a claw.-not a fan of the huge keycap font compared to the normal looking fonts of their older keyboards-the spacebar is annoyingly loud and sounds different than all the other keys, barely touch it and it rattles like a mofo. Its barely stabilized-software is still un-intuitive and you need to keep it open for the lighting to work right reds feel drastically different to my old cherry blues, honestly they are way worse for typing because they are really light, but for games they are better because on blues it feels like there is a big 'deadzone' until the click bump and has too much travel for actuating and resetting the key during games imo. For example adad'ing in cs is way faster and easier to do on reds. I wish they offered more switch options because i'd probably still rather have my cherry blues as well there is a 3rd party program called 'corsair effects engine' with a siiick audio visualizer, a feature not included in the official software for some reason but its a big reason i even considered this in the first placei found this on sale for $60 and its def worth it at that price i'd say this is worth $100 max, its not bad but ill probably go with another mx blue kb in the future
